Founder’s Day 2021

Our Annual Founder’s Day celebration took place on Tuesday, October 19. Normally held as an outdoor picnic for employees, the event was moved from Jerry Hall’s birthday in July to the fall because of the extreme summer heat. One of our customers, Raber Packing Company in West Peoria, catered the meal complete with burgers, brats, porkchops, mac and cheese, potato salad and baked beans.

Taco Tuesday

Speaking of food and celebrations, our team enjoyed a month-long feast of Taco Tuesdays in June hosted by restaurants in Pekin and the surrounding areas. For the final event, President & CEO Mike Shrier and CFO Tom Shrier prepared a taco fiesta meal for employees using Excalibur’s Mexicali Taco Seasoning. Everyone is hoping Shrier & Shrier will be back in the kitchen really soon.
